About Rusk
Rusk High School is a wonderful place for students to grow both academically and athletically. The school offers a wide variety of athletic programs for both girls and boys, including football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, and more. The Rusk Eagles football team is a powerhouse program that competes in some of the toughest regions in the state. They have a storied rivalry with teams like Jacksonville, Palestine, and Henderson, but they are always up for the challenge. The basketball program is also strong, with both the boys and girls teams consistently making deep playoff runs. The school is a member of the University Interscholastic League, which governs all high school athletic programs in Texas. Overall, Rusk High School is a great place for student-athletes to thrive and make memories that will last a lifetime.
