About Cumberland
Cumberland High School, located in Cumberland, RI, is a proud educational institution with a strong focus on athletics. The school offers a variety of athletic programs for both girls and boys, including soccer, cross country, track and field, basketball, football, lacrosse, volleyball, and more. The football and basketball programs, in particular, have a proud history and are well-known throughout the state. The football team competes in the Rhode Island Interscholastic League's Division I, regularly facing off against tough rivals such as Cranston, La Salle Academy, and East Providence High School. Meanwhile, the basketball team also competes in Division I and has a fierce rivalry with Cumberland's neighboring town, Lincoln.
